The Goodbye Plane is the story of one man's adjustment to loss through his friend and his music. Suffering a bereavement, church organist Leonard (Edward Hardwicke) starts to internalise his grief and dwell heavily on a relationship lost many years earlier when he was a Spitfire pilot during the Battle of Britain...
The Goodbye Plane premiered at the Los Angeles Short Film Festival and was nominated one of the “Best of Fest”. It was subsequently shortlisted for Academy Award nomination.
